An Announcement (take 2)

So, Sylverant PSO Patcher 1.0 was quite buggy, apparently. I apologize for not noticing the issues. I was under a bit of pressure to try to get it out before Hurricane Irene, so it wasn’t tested quite as much as I would have liked. Anyway, in order to remedy the issue I’m releasing version 1.1 today. We’ve done a bit more testing, and none of the random in-game issues that were reported with v1.0 seem to be occurring with v1.1, thankfully!

Please let me know any issues that you may discover with this version!

We found two problems though we tried v1.1 made public.

First of all, there was a little difference in the format and DC that was able to be read and DC that was not able to be read existed. It isn’t possible to read by the first-term lot though a part of image that you made can be read in a mid-term lot. The image to which we were able to read the verification repeatedly was produced about this (Of course, DC that doesn’t correspond to MIL-CD cannot be read).

The second is not to be able to connect it with the server even if DC not to acquire the hunter-license with official PSO uses v1.1. It is one of the the first double checks caught first. The check afterwards is safely released by v1.1 and connected. In a word, it’s necessary to exceed the first check (DC that has not been connected with official PSO).

First of all, we will inform you of it though it cannot be wonderful.
    Thank you.

I’m not entirely sure what you’re trying to say here. I’m guessing the first part is talking about burning the disc. Different Dreamcasts require you to burn the disc different ways (Audio/Data vs Data/Data), and some are even picky about the type of CD-R used.

With regard to the second part, I have no idea what you’re trying to say unfortunately… There should be no reason that you would have needed to gotten online with PSO to acquire a hunter’s license to play. I know that my original copy of PSOv2 US was never online on the official servers, and I never got a hunter’s license. Yet it works fine with the patcher disc.

The second might be a Japanese original problem. It is not finished that materials still gather though it tries to verify it. Still, I cannot help guessing so under the current situation.
Therefore, there is a necessary thing, too PM’s of it is sent addressed to you, and read, please.
