@pcwzrd13 A server-side bank has been a feature that's been on the todo list for a long time. Unfortunately, it'd require a lot of extra work that is just a lot of work to do to make sure it works right in all cases. So, in short, eventually I'd like that to be a thing, but soon, sadly.

Tokens earned in the Wondrous Winter event on Sylverant can now be traded in for items in-game. See this forum post for more information: https://t.co/iIwQweZMo9 . Token trade-in will be available for at least two weeks, possibly longer (but not forever, certainly).

There's less than a week left to gather tokens and place on the leaderboard on the Sylverant event "Wondrous Winter". Get out there with your highest leveled characters and face higher difficulties to gather tokens and leaderboard ranks most efficiently! #PSO #Dreamcast #Gamecube

@Tulio2Dream It doesn't appear that Palmacosta has support for scripting built in though, so the event still won't work. You need to run the configure script with "--enable-scripting" with Lua 5.3 installed to make it work.

@pcwzrd13 Glad to see people enjoying the event. That said, it only promises in-game prizes, no real ones. ;-)

IPv6 Anyone?

Not that anyone but me probably cares, but the machine running this website now has support for IPv6 connections. So, if you’re on an IPv6 enabled machine/network/etc, it might well be coming to you over IPv6 (yes, the AAAA record is in the DNS as well). Thanks to the people at Hurricane Electric tunnelbroker.net for the IPv6 tunnel that makes this all work (you can get your own IPv6 tunnel through them for free).

I’ve been toying with the idea of allowing ship server to shipgate connections to be done over IPv6 for the Sylverant server as well… The shipgate could theoretically be run completely on IPv6 (no, I have no intention of making the shipgate only accept connections on IPv6, just stating this from a theoretical point of view), but any ship servers will require IPv4 addresses simply because of the fact that PSO doesn’t know anything about IPv6.
